Plea for help

I'm looking for a movie that I can't for the love of me remember the name of and in a last desperate attempt I'm hoping that perhaps someone around here knows it.

It's about a group of Psychology students/behavior analysts (...something like that) that along with their professor goes to an island that's used as a training area in order to help them understand and track down serial killers. And things goes as they usually do and people start dying, they've got to figure out whodunit and get away before they're all dead.

Keeping my fingers crossed that maybe someone remembers/knows what the name of this movie is.

Also because I'm sure it's relative to everyone's interetst;

The Last Nine Films: August 13, 2010

Due to my want to make my journal into one where I discuss movies as well I decided that I wanted to do something like this... where every few movies I watch, I look back and decide the whole "best of" thing. Like "Best Performance" and "Best Chemistry" etc etc.

So I decided to start out now and take the last nine films I have seen. Hopefully I continue this thing. I love doing things like this! haha.

If you want to discuss any of the movies on the list please do so! I love movie conversations!

Read the rest here at my LJ.

Hi Everyone!

Hello members. I hope you all have been well. I wanted to say Im sorry I haven't been updating alot of great movies having been coming out and I haven't posted.

In my private life I had something happen. The first was my mother was diagnosed with cancer. She passed on in Feb. after only be diagnosed in Oct. Alot of paper work and legal stuff had to be dealt with. I'm still dealing with it all as a matter of fact but it is not as bad as it was.

The other was my boyfriend one of our other mods here and I broke up. It is because of all this that I was absent for as long as I was.

That said Im taking things one day at a time. And I hope that I can now finally get back on the horse and start posting! I hope you all have been well.

Johnny Depp Sets Sail on Fourth 'Pirates' Movie

Captain Jack Sparrow will soon take to the seas again, and this time he is after the most sought-after treasure imaginable: the Fountain of Youth.

It was announced this week that the fourth installment of Disney's highly successful "Pirates of the Caribbean" franchise will begin filming in Hawaii this summer. Johnny Depp once again plays the flamboyant Captain Jack, and Geoffrey Rush reprises his role as his adversary, Barbossa. However, costars Orlando Bloom and Keira Knightley are not expected to return.

The film's story is loosely based on the 1987 pirate novel, "On Stranger Tides" by award-winning fantasy author Tim Powers. The book tells the story of a young man -- coincidentally named "Jack" -- who is captured by the pirate Blackbeard and forced to join in the search for the Fountain of Youth.

Ted Elliott, the co-writer of the first three "Pirates" movies, said that the story of the novel just happened to align with where they wanted to take the fourth film. He told Empire magazine, "We wanted to do a story about Blackbeard and the Fountain of Youth, and Tim Powers wrote a book about Blackbeard and the Fountain of Youth... it just turns out that to do that story you would need that book."

Johnny Depp signed on to appear in the fourth movie in 2008, before there was a script. It was announced at the same time he would also be playing Tonto in a film version of "The Lone Ranger," but that project has been delayed until after "Pirates" is finished.

Keira Knightley and Orlando Bloom have both said they had no desire to return for a fourth movie. Knightley said in an interview, "It was a completely fantastic experience, and it was an amazingly large portion of my life, but I don't think I need to go there again. I think that it's done." Also, the director of the original trilogy, Gore Verbinski, will not be coming back. He is being replaced by Rob Marshall, the director of "Chicago" and "Nine."

"Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides" is scheduled to dock into movie theaters on May 20th, 2011.
